History

GenMont is established in 2000. In 2005 president Chen started to lead it toward developing innovate Biotech. He focuses on the developing markets. As the revenue growth dramatically, GenMont becomes the fist profitable Biotech company in Tainan science based park.

2000 ■Established GenMont. Capital NT$447 million

2001 ■Station in Tainan Science based industrial park and built factory
■Formal signing of sales and agency letter of intent with Uni – President Enterprises Corp.
■Obtained factory registration certificate and business registration certificate.
■Obtained subsidies for the innovative technology R&D projects from the preparation office of Tainan Science-based Industrial Park (TSIP).

2003 ■Public listing on OTC
■Obtained subsidies for the SBIR project

2004 ■Obtained patent certificate for “Applications of Multiple Gene Performance Analysis Methods with Traditional Chinese Medicine”。

2005 ■Certified by the Department of Health to become the nation’s first manufacturing factory with the GMP certificate for active pharmaceutical ingredients (for probiotics production).
■Obtained Taiwan and China invention patent certificate for “Drinks Containing Lactic Acid Bacteria and the Manufacturing Methods Thereof.”
■Passed the examinations of Ministry of Economic Affairs and obtained the patent certificate for “Drying Device for Vacuum Freezing.”
■Granted China patent 「Ferment lactobacillus GM-090 using in inducing INF-γ secretion and treating allergic diseases」

2006 ■Obtain the certificate of Food GMP
■Passed a renewed cGMP certificate for producing active pharmaceutical ingredients.
■Functional Probiotics GM-080” won Silver Award in the 2006 National Biotechnology & Medical Care Award in the same month.
■“Dental Health Care Product － Poyikang” was winner of the 2006 National Innovation Award.
■Granted US patent 「Lactobacillus paracasei stain GM-080 for treating allergy related diseases.」; US patent 「Microorganism stain of GM-020 of Lactobacillus rhamnosus」
■Obtained patent certificate for “Drinks Containing Lactic Acid Bacteria and the Manufacturing Methods Thereof.”
■Granted US patent 「live vaccine for allergy treatment」

2007 ■Awarded a renewed GMP certificate.
■Oral healthy care product 「Bao-Yi-Kang」won 2006 national innovate award and 2007 certificate of symbol of national quality
■Functional probiotic GM-080 completed clinical trail phase two

2009 ■Formal signing of cooperate agreement of intent with AGV Products Corp.
■The member of IPA (International Probiotic Association)
